There are several Weddings that I DJ throughout the year. There are a handful of Weddings that stick out from the others (for good reason) and this is one of them!

Nina & AJ really personalized their Wedding with the combination of knowing what they want and communicating that vision.  I want to commend Nina & AJ for picking an Excellent Venue & Vendors! Their Wedding Ceremony and Reception both happened at The Ebell Club in Long Beach. The Ebell Club has a remarkable history and the building glows with charm at every angle. It was such a cozy venue and a perfect place to have both the Ceremony and Reception.

LA Mobile DJs allows Wedding clients to create their own online planning form, music play-list, music do not play-list, and time-line of events. I always try to stress the importance of utilizing these forms and Nina did exactly that!

If you’re a Bride to be and you need some helpful advice about planning for your Wedding day, please rip a page out of Nina’s Book! Nina was on top of every detail and she asks all the right questions. She truly did invest her efforts into making sure her Wedding Day went as envisioned–and the results show.

The Venue was absolutely elegant, and I look forward to the next time I will get an opportunity to DJ again at the Ebell Club in Long Beach!

What classifies a huge event? People often ask me, what’s the biggest event you’ve DJed? I have done several large events and it was hard to sort out which one was the biggest, until now.

First, Can you spot me?

How About Now?

A friend of mine (DJ Dense) is the DJ for the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center. On any given night, he could have a crowd of about 19,000+.  He is one of LA’s biggest DJ’s and he has absolutely earned his residency as the Clippers DJ. I’m not sure that there is a bigger venue in Los Angeles next to DJing the Staples Center.

I will have to remember this event as one of the biggest events that I have DJed. It’s not the Staples Center, but it’s right across the street from Staples, LA Live!

This was a private red carpet event and it was HUGE. There were approximately 6,000 people at LA Live. Katsuya, Lucky Strike, Wolfgang Puck, The Conga Room, and ESPN Zone were all rented for this event. I made announcements every 15 minutes and I kept the music appropriate for the entire evening.

It was amazing! Big Screens everywhere, performances, and good times!

AEG handled this event. AEG has a very high level of professionalism. They are one of the leading sports and entertainment presenters in the world. By the end of the night, everyone was happy and enjoyed themselves! That’s what it’s all about and I have a feeling I will back soon!

Conclusion: The next time someone asks me “Alan, have you ever DJed a Wedding with 250 people?” My response is going to be “I have, but I haven’t done an event with 12,500 people yet.”
